Beneath These Scars by Meghan March
Date of Publication: September 22, 2015
I’m the guy you love to hate.
In every story in my life, I seem to end up playing the villain—and I’ve got the scars to prove it.
That role works fine for me, because I’m sure as hell not anyone’s hero. I run my life and my empire with an iron fist—until she knocks my tightly controlled world off its axis.
She’s nobody’s damsel in distress, but I can’t help but want to save her anyway.
I guess we’re about to find out if there’s a hero buried … beneath these scars.
Where to start on this book…. It touched so many emotions and current world issues. Like the rest of the Beneath series, the heroine was strong and self sufficient, but had serious trust issues.
I could not put this one down until it was done, just like the others, Meghan March has a way of doing that. I ugly cried, laughed, and cringed, the twists and surprises kept me tapping my Kindle until ‘The End’.
Yve and Lucas are like oil and water, but when they finally get together they are like gas and flame, and explode with passion. He just has to break down her tough as nails exterior to get her to see he isn’t just after a booty call. And she needs to show him that he isn’t all that much of an @ss that everyone makes him believe he is!
This is certainly a more than 5 super star book that can be read as a stand alone, but I suggest you read the entire Beneath series in order to get to know all of the characters. You will LOVE them, trust me.
About Meghan March
Meghan March is the author of contemporary and erotic romance novels.
Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She’s also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. Writing books about dirty talking alpha males and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees is by far the most fabulous job she’s ever had.
