Great story written by author Amy Briggs! It’s not just your regular love story, there are hot firemen and all kinds of things going on! 5 stars for this great book! Pick yours up today!!

Being a fire chiefs wife and my daughter being a firefighter mother, this book is so real for me. There are some many things outsiders don’t know or understand about what first responders go through.

Jo’s father dying being in love with her best friends brother whom she grew up with is playing on her mind. She is in love with Brian who she tried to open up to a year before and he shut her down but she still wants him. After Jo’s father passed away that set a spark again between her and Brian and things happened. Unsure where things are going and going back to work at station 23 with Brian as her boss has her rethinking things. Until her ex tries to kill her because her father had information on him for taking money and turning his head the other way and passing illegal inspections. Brian saved her from her burning house and is taking care of her after her release from hospital.

Amy hits the nail right on the head this book. Love triangles, foul play and risks being taken every time the sirens go off. She also left us with a cliffhanger and I’m excited for the next book.
