Release Blitz and Review – The Devil in the Detail by Max Henry
We pick up right where we left off in the last book, with Sawyer tied up and ready to be delivered to Daddy dearest. Only this book is all about Ramona, Sawyer’s baby momma and what is going on in her life while The Butcher Boys are helping the MC with Sawyer. This is when she meets the one and only Ty.
While Ramona is struggling with the emotions of losing Sawyer and being alone to raise Mack, she is faced with decisions to move away from the only family she has ever know to protect them from Carlos. She is also fighting the feelings she is developing for Ty. Oh man, Oh man! Talk about which way to go, I wouldn’t know where my heart would take me either. Poor Ramona, what a tough decision to make.
Ty is one messed up man!! That guy has got some skeletons in his closet; no wait, they are total freaking MONSTERS! When the truth of his past comes out, it only explains a part of why he does what he does, but it helps to understand why he feels like he deserves the pain. He finally finds the one person that can make him feel like he deserves to be happy and doesn’t need the pain. But will he get her in the end?
One of my favorite installments in the Butcher Boys series!! Max Henry is killing it with these guys!! Cannot wait to see what else she has in store!!
“Like you could be something incredible for me. But . . . ”
God, she’s killing me. “But?”
“It’s not the right time.” She smiles softly.
A beat passes with us staring at one another. I don’t want the moment to end. I don’t want her to walk away. “Do you love him?” My tongue is thick in my mouth.
Max is the author of the suspense filled, and highly emotive Butcher Boys series. She writes uniquely dark romance, featuring damaged alphas and the women who help them achieve balance in their lives.
Originally born and bred in Canterbury, New Zealand, Max now resides with her family in beautiful and sunny Queensland, Australia. Life with two young children can be hectic at times, and although she may not write as often as she would like, Max wouldn’t change a thing.
In her down time, Max can be found at her local gym, brain-storming through a session with the weights. Or, she may be out bumping, and jostling her way along a dirt track with the family in hubby’s 4WD.
