Kate Stewart wrote a great story about a playboy minor league baseball player Rafe with dreams of making it in the big league. Everyone is telling him this is his year, he’s pitching better than ever the last thing he needs is a distraction of a girl. He meets a quirky useless information loaded nerdy girl who happens to sit next to Dutch, a woman who has been watching the baseballs games forever and no one has ever sat next to her at a game because that’s her dead husband’s seat which Alice happens to sit in not realizing its not her seat! She’s never been to a baseball game this is he first! Dutch invites her to sit with her to all the home games!
When Rafe meets Alice, he has to have her, he’s never felt like this but Alice proves to be a giant challenge and when she fights his advances. But when they connect, the chemistry is undeniable and the passion and love and sex is off the charts! Can they survive the challenges of dating a baseball player with a demanding schedule?
This story was so well written, you feel the characters emotions and these two just lite up the pages with their chemistry! 5 shiny stars for this one and this is a must read book!
