Judge me all you like, love me, hate me. I don’t give a fuck.
Life’s a party and you should never stop dancing.
But even the sweetest of highs has it’s low. There is only so high you can go before you fall, and fall I did, right into the arms of the only man that could possibly stop me from crashing and burning. I’ve always been untouchable. I’ve never cared enough to be touchable. Until now.
Love is the most destructive drug of all.
Holy WOW…. This was NOT what I was expecting at all. Having read LP’s previous books with Stevie J Cole, I was expecting something far more dark and dirty. I was pleasantly surprised to find Blake McQueen, daughter of the uptight British Minister of defense (or something like that), good standing member of the community, and businessman, who wanted nothing to do with that, and everything to do with ruining him in the public eye.
The amount of drugs and alcohol consumed in this book amazed me; I would never imagine that anyone could survive this lifestyle for long. Addiction is a crazy thing, and when you hit rock bottom, there is nowhere to go but up, right? That is until your up leaves you high and dry.
The underlying love and hate relationship in this story is so not what you expect. This shows just how far some people will go to get what they want, and when they actually get it, just how hard it is to accept what they gave up.
I loved this book so much! LP is a Rock Star!!!
Blake has daddy issues, her parents only care about his career not their daughter who does anything and everything to get herself negative press, sex, drugs you name it, just to get attention from her parents, but all it ever does it irritate them and they cover it up so it doesn’t hit the news.
Rhett got his start to his fortune through dirty money. His brother is in jail in London and he needs to get him extradited back to the US so the cartel can get him out. Who better to use than the daughter of the man that can make that happen. He knows that if Blake is associated with him her father will go nuts so he starts out using Blake as a pawn to get what he needs. One thing he didn’t count on was falling in love the troubled girl.
Can these two get past their issues, can she trust him to give her the love she is so in need of and not leave her? Can he get the girl and his brother free? Can she get herself the help she needs to live a better life away from the drugs and alcohol? You need to read this book and find out.
This was a great book about a girl trying to gain her parents love and a guy who has to sacrifice his own happiness for his brother, the only family he has left. The author did a great job with this book I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend this book!
She’s a self-confessed shameless pervert, who may be suffering from slight peen envy.
