Title: A Love so Tragic
Author: Stevie J. Cole
Genre: Contemporary/Second Chance Romance
Release Date: February 15, 2016
We all make them. Sometimes we break them. But what happens when the promise you break haunts your dreams, when that moment of betrayal echoes within every last beat of your heart?
Love is passionate, painful, and all consuming in the most brutal yet beautiful way. How many people have you said ‘I love you’ to? Five, ten, maybe no one? I’ve said that word to two men, but only one where I felt it.Tragic.
This word sums up my relationship with Nicolas: devastating, painful, depressing.
A first love that should have lasted a lifetime, but I ruined with a stupid decision. Shakespeare would refer to Nicolas as my star crossed lover, and I should know that stories such as ours always end in tragedy, but even with that, I can’t not love him, even if I’m married to someone else.

Patti’s Review

If you have read any book by Stevie J Cole prior to picking this one, throw all of your expectations out of the window right now. This book is unlike anything she has ever written and will probably ever write again. It seems as though Ms. Cole has taken to wanting to play our heartstrings in this book, and not our deep dark desires as in her other books.

This is a story of True Love; from the moment they meet in English class their hearts belong to each other. It seems as though so many of us can relate to this story, I for one am married happily to my high school sweet heart. But as only Stevie can write it, things aren’t always roses and blue skies! Life happens, things tear happiness apart, and relationships are put to the test.

I was literally on the edge of my seat begging for Nic and Peyton to get back to each other through the whole book, even though every obstacle you can possibly think of was thrown at them. The writing is so captivating and mesmerizing that I could not stop reading until I got to the end. There were many times that I was yelling and crying at Ms. Stevie as I was reading, but in the end, My Heart is still in tact.

Sharon’s Review

What happens when your true love marries someone else? How do you move past that? Do you ever truly move on?

Nicolas didn’t think he would ever believe in love. Then he meets Peyton and that’s it, he falls in love but they are so young how can it last?

All it takes is one drunken night when Peyton and Nicolas are “on a break” to set into motion the demise of their relationship. Follow their story four years later in this book when circumstances bring them together, but will it be enough?

This book’s title is fitting! You will smile and you will cry, and scream! Their story was written perfectly by Stevie, this is a must read I know you will enjoy it!
