Review – Beneath These Chains by Meghan March

LoBTC-Amazon_Webrd Oh Lord! Yes that came out of my mouth a few times while reading this book!  As well as OMFG! Lord is the kind of guy that you don’t want to meet in a dark alley, but you want him to take you home and show you what he has under all that sexiness. He is the strong Alpha male that isn’t looking for love, but when she storms into his shop, he has no chance in H*LL at avoiding it.

Ellie is on a mission that we do not really know about until well into the book. She is using the pawnshop for her own personal gain but no one really knows it. She is also the strong, take no shit kind of woman that is bound to bring or find trouble wherever she goes. And that is just what happens when the leader of the local gang sets his sites on her.

When people start showing up dead, things start getting real, the thing is that Meghan March is good at keeping it all a secret until the end… and of course, so will I. Let’s just say all of the people that give Ellie crap in her life or a hard time… end up with bullets in the back! Strange…. Nah!

This is such a good read, I could not put it down until it was done, and then I wanted more! I was sitting there wishing I had read it slower because I didn’t want it to be over. Great job with this one Ms. March!

This can be read as a standalone, but I highly suggest that you get the others in the series too! They are really really really good!!!
